A Place for the Rich and Famous: Bel Air, California

Bel Air, California

Bel Air, California is a gated community in Los Angeles, California which completes the Platinum Triangle! I don't know about you, but when I hear Bel Air, I think of that hilarious show "Fresh Prince of Bel Air". Anyway, Bel Air is situated in Westside, California which is in los Angeles and contains some of the Santa Monica Mountains. One gate to enter Bel Air is at the corner of Sunset Blvd and Bellagio Blvd.

Homes of Bel Air are that of a wealthy person's style: large, hidden, and fancy. Bel Air streets curve, twist, and slope many times. The homes are not visible from the street due to the hidden nature of them. Most of the homes are large, but some are modest as well. The higher up in the mountains you go, the smaller the homes get. Most of the homes of Lower Bel Air which is near the gate enterance, tend to be the priciest of the community because they are close to the popular Sunset Blvd.

Bel Air does not have sidewalks like Beverly Hills does because the ordance code wants to keep people from walking around the community. The community is heavily guarded, probably the most guarded area of all the triangle. Not only is the whole area a gated community, but most of the homes are even gated. Bel Air is also patroled by security guards.

My Mother lived there back in her youth. Thank you for allowing me to remember her!

Great place! The history, the architecture - I want to visit!
