Ridiculous, right?

I'm sure you read the title and said to yourself, "No way..." Well actually, its true. Completely true. Just more evidence that the Obama Administration is a threat to American business, jobs, and the overall economy; and CEO of Euro Pacific Precious Metals Peter Schiff has something to say about it.

Schiff appeared before the House Oversight Committee last week to set the record straight: the Obama Administration is dead wrong when it comes to business. In his 22 minute speech, he detailed a recent experience he had with some of the administration's security regulators. According to Schiff, security regulators fined him $15,000 for hiring too many people. On top of that, he had to pay over $500,000 in legal bills in an attempt to defend himself against such an outlandish claim. And don't forget the hiring freeze he and his business were subject to for 3 years! They didn't let him hire anyone or obtain office space.

If Obama and his puny regulators are serious about putting people back to work they've got the wrong philosophy. Over regulating businessmen and women by creating a capital burden does everything but help the employment problem in America. Mr. Schiff was billed over $515,000 for hiring too many people; that's money he could have spent creating jobs by expanding his business. But no, the Obama Administration stole it from him.

Now if you're a liberal, you are probably working up some lame excuse to cover your Socialist Messiah. But if you're a common sense conservative like myself, you know, whether you're a wealthy job creator or a stay at home mom, that Obama's business/jobs philosophy is completely flawed. So flawed, its almost apparent that he's trying to destroy the American dream.

Schiff's experience is evidence to the claim that Obama is not only slowing the economic growth of America, he's flat anti-business.

No matter what news comes out of Washington these days, none of it surprises me. Slowly, ever so slowly, the American way of life is being snuffed out in favor of societal entitlement programs which will eventually become the bane of our, the American, existence. I do not claim to have the answers. One area, however, that must be addressed is our debt. I realize this is a horse that has been beaten, whipped, propped back up, and then beaten again. But it seems to me that the current administration's avenue of reparation is to simply redistribute. That mind-set, as we all know, is socialist in nature. And socialism is NOT America. Government, as our founders intended it to be, should be economically friendly at all levels. Such an example as depicted in your excellent writing is NEITHER friendly, or economical. It is, rather, absurd and outrageous. November 2012 cannot come too soon!!

Which just proves Obama says one thing and means another. Does this administration want business to succeed? No.
