David Siegel's Mega Mega Mansion
David Siegel, the master of the timeshare, is currently building one of the largest private residences in the United States. He is the president of Central Florida Investments which is affliated with Westgate Resorts. The home he is building in Lake Butler, Florida is just over 88,000 square feet! The master suite is being built on a table that turns a complete 360 degrees. The foyer alone is 6,700 square feet and the kitchen is just over 1,000. Some amenities of this mega mansion include an indoot ice rink, tennis court with 200 seats, 30 bathrooms, 10 kitchens, a baseball diamond, and bowling alley.
John Thain's Colonial Estate
Merrill Lynch's CEO lives in this monstrous mansion. Thain was previously the CEO of the New York Stock Exchange. A New York based magazine says that his whole estate spans across 3 towns and has 5 addresses! That's impressive! The estate is 10 acres and is valued at $10 million. Some amenities include a clay tennis court, beehives, 2 swimming pools, and several other buildings. The home is located in Rye, New York.
TV Mogul Oprah Winfrey's Estate
The television show mogul has also decided to purchase a behemoth of a house. Located in Santa Barbara, California, this 50 million dollar mansion sits on 42 acres of pure landscape and amazing views. The home itself is around 23,000 square feet. Some of the insides of the house include 10 fireplaces, theater, 6 bedroom/14 bath, and much more. Located on the actual estate are ponds and lucious landscaping all about the property.
British American Idol Judge Simon Cowell's Modern Mansion
This is the home of popular American Idol, X-Factor, and Britain's Got Talen judge Simon Cowell. He bought the Beverly Hills home in 2004 from Jennifer Lopez. He then tore down the standing house and built a newer, modern home. The home is just over 11,000 square feet with 24 foot walls around the perimeter. Some amenities include a full gym, lap pool, tanning salons, luxury spa with a steam room, a solarium and 5 bedrooms. My favorite part of his house is the garage. His garage is full of luxury cars, 2 including the most expensive car Bugati Veyron and a Bentley convertible.
