Comparing Obama and his Leadership to That of the Antichrist in the Holy Bible: Could Obama be the Antichrist?

Let's face it; our society is getting more violent, more 'of the world', and more non Christ like. Christians are rapidly becoming a minority in a world that is being filled with Muslims, Hindus, and other harmful and false religions. I believe we are very close to the end times. This is not a joking matter, for it is extremely serious. In these days, we have to question our head authorities and dictators who long for power, world dominance, and control over all.

America elected President Barack Hussein Obama in 2009. Much controversy has been brought up regarding the president such as his birth certificate, his religion, his politics, mostly everything about him has been questioned. But has anyone questioned the possible thought that Obama could very well be the Antichrist? Seems impossible right; in perfect America that our great leader who promises "hope" and "change" will rule to kill. In this article, Bible references and verses pertaining to the Antichrist will be shown and then what Obama has done to meet these 'requirements' of being the Antichrist. This will simply leave you shocked, as it did me.

There are several characteristics of the Antichrist that are spoken about in the Bible. Obama 'fits the description' of the majority of them, as some who affirm the claim would believe.

Some of the Evidence

1. The Antichrist "will become very strong, but not by his own power...He will succeed in whatever he does". This passage is from Daniel 8:24 from the NIV. Indeed he became very strong, not by his own power, but by his rapid growth to fame. Almost every significant individual has outspoke on his or her support for Obama. Oprah, 99% of Hollywood, Fidel Castro just recently praised him on his healthcare! It is clear Obama has risen to popularity also in the fact that most of America voted for him. "He will succeed in whatever he does." He won the hearts of many Americans which helped him win the election and already a year into his presidency, he has won one of the biggest, if not the biggest, thefts in American history: nationalized healthcare. Will Obama win more? Of course he will.

2. It summarizes in the chapters of Daniel and Revelation that the Antichrist will speak against and mock God's word. President Obama recently said in a speech in 2006, "Which passages of Scripture should guide our public policy? Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests that slavery is okay? Or we could go with Deuteronomy which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith? Or should we just stick to the sermon on the mount, a passage that is so radical that it is doubtful that our own defense department would survive it's application? Folks haven't been reading their Bible!" It is clear that when Obama said this, he was mocking the Christian Holy Bible almost like he is "poking fun" at some of the Scriptues treating them like crap.

3. Revelation 17 and 18 speak about the Antichrist saying that he will come from a dominant political, economical and miltary driven country in high power. What country would that be? The United States of America. There is no country in the world that will have as much freedom and power than the United States of America.

4. Again summarized in the Revelation and Daniel, it could be said that the Antichrist will be master of intrigue and deception. I haven't seen or oberved any president throughout history who has been able to intrigue and decept people into thinking his way. It is almost as if Obama's theme song to America is "Walk This Way". Never has any president been able to capture American souls as Obama did in 2009. People were crying, shouting, hollering, and yelling "Yes We Can" as if Obama was a...Messiah.

5. Daniel 7:24 summarizes that he will be a 'president' different from those who were before him. Indeed that is correct. Has any other president supported Socialism? Has any other president been so popular? Has any other president supported an outrageous healthcare bill that is the first step to Communism? Has any other president been so highly regarded as the "Messiah" and the one who brings about hope? Has any other president...been of African background? Has any other president had such close ties with radical Communists? It is 100% clear that Obama is very much different than those who he has followed.

6. 2 Thessalonians 2: 9-10 says, "The coming of the LAWLESS ONE will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, sign, and wonders and it every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing." The writer of Thessalonians is pointing out that the Antichrist will be a lawless one who rebels against God and does Satan's work (lawless is a fancy word for rebel). Well just when Obama was elected, the U.S. Secret Service announced that Obama's codename was 'Renegade'. What is a renegade? Well, let's ask Webster. Merriam Webster says that renegade is one who deserts or rebels against a faith, cause, or alliance. Coincidence?

7. Matthew 24:15 says that the Antichrist will be seen in the holy place which is the one who causes the abomination of desolation. In 2008, President Obama made a trip to the wailing wall in Jerusalem. There are pictures of him with that little Jewish hat on (sorry, I do not know the correct term for it) placing a hand on the wall and "praying". This area of the Jerusalem wailing wall has been called the Holy Place. What is the one word that all of Obama's opposers are calling America now? Not abomination, but Obamanation.

8. Many passages claim that the Antichrist will be known as the Messiah. Wow. This one is self explanatory. What have all the Democrats been calling him? The Messiah.

Other Things to Watch For

There are many other things that will be true of the Antichrist that we need to watch for. Here is a list of some important things:

-It is said that the Antichrist will sign a 7 year treaty with Israel and Palestine. Watch for this, it is probably the most important thing to watch for. (Daniel 9:27)

-The Antichrist will have a wounded head, but will be miraculously healed and everyone will be awe struck.

-Nations will rise up and give authority to the Antichrist

-He will attack Christians and Jews

-He will changes laws regarding worship, which most nearly means freedom of religion in America

Let me reinstate this fact. The argument written about in this hub is only a stance that many , Americans, actually 14% of Americans, take on the issue of Obama being the Antichrist, and no where did I say that I affirmed this belief.
