Making Money (Traffic) on Hubpages Through Facebook

Overview of Facebook

Facebook is a world wide internet website where you can create a profile and have friends create profiles too. When they do, you can become "friends" with your friend who created a profile. You can do numerous things like collect flair, join groups, or just chat with friends. You can also change your "status" when you get on.

Making Money on Hubpages Through Facebook

Any hubber knows that in order to earn money through Hubpages, your hubs must generate traffic. There are four ways through Facebook that you can generate traffic to your hubs and collect some cash!

Your Status

As I said above, on Facebook you can update your status. Here is an example of a status: "John Smith is going to the mall". In this status bar, you can copy and paste your hubpage url. It does look kinda funny, but hey, its money! For example: "John Smith is http://hubpages.com/hub/example." When you update your status, all of your friends on facebook can see your status and they might go visit your hub!

Your Profile

If you have a facebook, you then you have a profile. In your profile, you can tell when your birthday is, what city you live in, etc. One of the choices is you can type in your website or websites. I go to my hubs, copy and paste the url under the website section. When someone goes to visit your profile, they will most likely see your website section. From there, they can click on your website, or your hub, and they will go right to it!

Joining Groups

Through facebook one of the fun things to do is join groups. There are groups for music, fun, misc, all sorts of stuff. Anyone can make a group. When you have made a group, people can visit your group and join the group. If the group allows, there is a "wall" that you can post comments or anything on about that group. In some groups, there is up to 2,000,000 people! For example, you wrote a hub on the top ten fastest cars. You can search for a group about cars (I normally prefer a group with alot of members). Join the group, post your hub's url on the wall, and traffic to that hub will literally shoot up.

Writing on Your Friend's Wall

When you have a friend on facebook, you can go and visit their profile. In there profile, you have the tabs "wall", "info", "photos", and any tabs that person might add. Under the "wall" tab, you can write on there wall. You can write about whatever you want. This is a good way to let your friends know that you have published a new hub, or just to tell them to visit the hub.

Facebook is a big advantage to generate traffic to your hubs. Hopefully you learned how to better generate traffic through facebook.
