What is Virtual Globetrotting?

Virtual Globetrotting: Explore Your World is an online website you can go to to literally explore our world. Virtual Globetrotting collects data from different pictures of celebrity houses, palaces in India, or even far away islands, and puts it into a 'birds eye view' form so it is easy to see. Basically, this website is for the people who love to look at big houses, mainly celebrities. There is a search bar at the top of the website (virtualglobetrotting.com) where you can type in any celebrity's name you can think of, and it will take you to a close up view of their probably massive estate.

Virtual Globetrotting has many options. There is just the plain search option, to search any celebrity big or small, the Scavenger Hunt, where you look up celebrities as a contest, and many more including blogs and forums. If it your first time to visit the site, I would recommend starting with the search engine. When you enter a celeb, for example 'Michael Jordan' then hit enter, 3 or 4 pictures of his house will come up. A 3D version, a Google Earth version, and a Bird Eye View version. There is some examples of 'birds eye view' to the right or below.

Virtual Globetrotting vs. Google Earth

Google Earth is also a big way to 'explore your world', but in my opinion, Virtual Globetrotting is a whole lot better. Not only does it have Google Earth views, but it has views like you are close up in a helicopter. From Google Earth, you can only see the top of the estate, but with Virtual Globetrotting, you can see the whole house in 3D! (outside that is)

As you can see on the right, this is what you will see right when you type in the website (virtualglobetrotting.com). If you look at the top right, there is a small white bar. This is the search engine where you can search your favorite actor, actress, singer, etc. To the far left of the front site is the options to search maps, maps category, map location, pics, and misc. Once again, if this is your first time visiting the site, you may just want to start with the search engine.

Basically, this website allows you to search for famous people and look at their houses. It is very interesting to see the great size of the homes and the uniqueness they all contain. I hope you get to visit this wonderful site.

One of the things I love about Virtual Globetrotting is not just the amazing houses that are for viewing, but also VG allows you to view from the street view. Sometimes you cannot see the house because of obstacles like bushes, etc., but when you can see the street view of the mansion, it is very cool. Also, its not just houses! If you are like me and love everything luxury like houses AND cars, you do not have to search only houses; search cars! I love Range Rover's, so if I type in Range Rover in the search engine, it will get me right up close to those awesome vehicles.

I have to warn you, when you visit the site once, you will be hooked on it for a looooong time! LOL. Thats pretty much it about the website, its very easy to use and to learn. Some pictures of houses are below with the celeb's name under them. Thanks for reading!

By the way- If anyone who visits this site finds a GREAT celeb house that they want everyone to see, just post the name of the celeb and we can be nosy and look at their house! Also, the pics are not that blury on the website and they're much bigger!
